This process is specific to the Visa D-10. Please check requirements for other types of visas.
Done in Ukraine
Leave a MINIMUM of 15 business before applying.
I’d suggest more time in case your paperwork isn’t correct or systems are down.
May differ per office. Check your local migration office for details
1. Translation of passport
-Look for a translation agency on maps; 200-400UAH, 2 day process
2. Documents (shown in brackets in the photo) from the inviting NGO, with stamps and signature
- Invitation from your supporting NGO (NOT the same as the one used for your Visa)
- Copy of the table from the website of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, where the NGO is listed
- A certificate of state registration of said organization or institution of origin
3. Register address (done before or after applying for TRP. Must be done within 30 days of application)
4. Go to the migration office (Rudanskoho St, 3, Lviv, Lviv Oblast, 79000 or your local migration office) with your interpreter with documents in hand. Ask for the temporary residency. They will tell you if you have everything you need or not, right then. If yes, then pay ~1200UAH. Come back when they tell you to pick up your new TRP. Should take maybe 2-3 weeks.
Congratulations. You are now a resident of Ukraine.
After applying, you’ll have 30 days to register your address ~77UAH. If not done, you will have to pay a fine of ~3400UAH prior to renewing your TRP.
I recommend getting this done PRIOR to applying for the TRP because you will not need to turn over your passport translation here but will upon applying for your TRP.
Remember to also renew your address registration after renewing your residency. No landlord necessary, unless changing residency.
Look for your local ЦНАП (Центр надання
адміністративних послуг) (Administrative Services Center).
In Lviv, here are 2 locations:
Lviv Administrative Services Centre
Administrative Services Office
Renewing your TRP is the same process as the initial TRP process, except instead of the visa, you will present your previous TRP and also proof of address.
*I would suggest you go back to the same place that you got your passport translated last time for a reprint. They will just need your passport if there have been any changes to it. They should charge a lower fee this time.
Remember to also renew your address registration after getting your new residency permit. No landlord necessary, unless changing residency.
